Tight midterm races are heating up. That means money. Lots of it.
No Going Back PAC Inc. takes the top spot this week. The MAGA-aligned super PAC has been pouring money into Texas and Ohio, backing Ken Paxton's bid for U.S. Senate in Texas while spending heavily against Sherrod Brown's bid for a Senate seat. The committee disclosed $31 million in expected spending since Friday, bringing its grand total to $96.1 million, up from $64.7 million a day earlier.
Second place at $80.6M goes to WINSENATE, the Democratic super PAC aligned with Senate Democratic leadership. It threw $5.7 Million to support Democrat contenders Troy Jackson (Maine) Abdul El-Sayed (Michigan) , Chris Pappas (New Hampshire) James Talarico (Texas), Roy Cooper (North Carolina), Josh Turek (Iowa) and Sherrod Brown (Ohio). It also placed money against Jon Husted of Ohio among other GOP contenders.
Not to be outdone, SLF, or Senate Leadership Fund, aimed at building and protecting the Republican majority in the U.S. Senate weighed in with $78.8M of outside spending.
