Alyssa Gulick Transitions to Communications Director for Texas District
Alyssa Gulick has taken on a new position as Communications Director for the 23rd Congressional District of Texas, beginning April 1, 2026. The move marks a transition for Gulick, who previously served as Communications Director for Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX-23) from May 2023 through April 2026.
Gulick's career in congressional communications spans more than six years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in political science from Butler University, and her professional journey began with an internship in Sen. Jim Banks' office in early 2019, followed by positions as Staff Assistant and Press Assistant in Sen. Todd Young's office from 2020 to 2022. Gulick also served as Press Secretary and Deputy Communications Director for Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH-6), handling communications strategy for the Ohio representative's office from April 2022 to May 2023.
Gulick's experience managing communications for a House member positions her to coordinate messaging across district operations and constituent services.
