Brian Gallagher Promoted to Operations Director in Rep. Stevens' Office

From Operations Manager to Director

Brian Gallagher, Operations Director for Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI-11), has taken on a new title in the Michigan Democrat's personal office after spending nearly two years as District Operations Director. Gallagher graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in history and the history of American politics in 2019 and first joined Stevens' office in November 2021 as Operations Manager.

The Office He Helps Run

Rep. Stevens sits on two of the House's more active committees — the House Education and the Workforce Committee and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee — and she serves as Ranking Member of the Science Committee's Research and Technology Subcommittee, a position that places her at the center of debates over artificial intelligence policy, advanced manufacturing, and federal research investment. Gallagher will be at the helm of operations for the office at a time when some of the most contested policy debates are hitting the House floor.
