Why It Matters

The Cardiac PET Alliance filed a new client lobbying registration with Marshall Aaron Brachman, signed Oct. 24, covering Health Issues (HCR). The filing came 10 days after Farragut Partners LLP filed its own new client registration for the alliance on Oct. 14, making this the alliance's second new-client registration in under two weeks. The two engagements carry no overlapping lobbyists: Farragut's filings list 10 lobbyists, while Brachman's registration lists only Marshall Brachman, who carries a covered position of Principal.

By the Numbers

Farragut Partners LLP disclosed $60,000 in its third-quarter 2026 report for the alliance, the only spending the alliance has reported to date. The registration carries a $0 filing amount.

Between The Lines

Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA) posted on Oct. 15 that expanding access to affordable health care is a top priority and described a visit to a cardiac surgery center in Virginia. Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) posted on Aug. 13 that expanding access to advanced cardiac care is lifesaving, following a tour of a cardiac cath lab expansion at Adventist Health in Hanford.

The Bottom Line

Cardiac PET Alliance has two separate firms registered to lobby for it, Farragut Partners LLP and Marshall Aaron Brachman, and none of the ten lobbyists on Farragut's filings appears on the Brachman registration.
