From Press Assistant to Press Secretary
Chase Schoellhorn has been promoted to press secretary for Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), a position he began in June. Schoellhorn's new role places him at the center of communications strategy for Luna's office.
Before his promotion, he served as press assistant from March 2026 to June 2026, handling day-to-day communications support. Prior to that role, he worked as staff assistant and legislative correspondent from November 2025 to March 2026, managing constituent correspondence and legislative tracking. His initial entry into Congressional staff work came through an internship with Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL) from June 2025 to October 2025.
Schoellhorn holds a BA in public relations and strategic communications from Southern Methodist University.
The Office He Represents
Luna serves on three House committees, each with distinct oversight and legislative portfolios. She is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and the House Natural Resources Committee.
