Dominic Hastings Joins Diana DeGette's Colorado Office
Dominic Hastings has joined Diana DeGette's (D-CO) staff as press secretary and digital director, beginning his role on May 1. As press secretary and digital director, Hastings will take charge of managing the office's digital and press operations.
Before joining DeGette's office, Hastings worked as a digital media director for Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) from August of 2024 until he began his current position. His earlier congressional experience includes an internship with Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro (D-CT) from January April, 2024, and an internship at the House Appropriations Committee from September to December, 2023.
Hastings holds a degree from Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a BA in political science.
The Office He Represents
DeGette serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where she holds the position of Ranking Member of the Health Subcommittee. She also sits on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee and the Energy Subcommittee within the same committee.
