From Intern to Legislative Correspondent
Eric Wu has been promoted within Senator Catherine Cortez Masto's (D-NV) staff. Wu began his new role as legislative correspondent on July 1, previously having worked as a legislative intern in 2023 and subsequently as a staff assistant from 2024-2026 in Cortez Masto's office.
Wu holds a BA in political science and history from New York University, and graduated in 2022 before beginning his career on the Hill.
Committee Work
Cortez Masto sits on the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, where she holds the position of Ranking Member on the Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection Subcommittee. Cortez Masto also serves on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, and the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.
