From Intern to Operations Coordinator

Jack Whittenburg has been promoted to Operations Coordinator in the personal office of Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL-4), effective July 1, 2026. The position represents a step up from his previous role as Staff Assistant, which he held from August 2025 through June 2026.

Whittenburg's entire congressional career has been spent in Aderholt's office. He first interned there from June to July 2023, then returned as an intern from June to August 2025 before transitioning to the Staff Assistant role. Across his time on Capitol Hill, he has accumulated approximately one year and three months of total congressional service.

Whittenburg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics, cum laude, from Auburn University's Raymond J. Harbert College of Business.

The Committees He Contributes To

Aderholt serves on the House Appropriations Committee and chairs the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Subcommittee. He also serves on the Defense Subcommittee and the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Subcommittee within Appropriations.
