Jalen Auer has taken on a new position as veteran and union liaison/Green & Gold Congressional aide for the 20th Congressional District of Florida office, effective April 1, 2026. Auer brings approximately 1 year and 3 months of congressional service to the position. Prior to this appointment, Auer worked for Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL-20) in the same role, beginning March 1, 2025 and concluding April 1, 2026. Auer also served as a Green & Gold Congressional aide for the Chief Administrative Officer (House) from March 30, 2025 through July 18, 2025, overlapping with the work for the congresswoman's office. Auer holds a certificate as an emergency medical technician from Indiana University Bloomington.
