Maddie McComb Promoted to Communications Director for Sen. Chris Coons

From Deputy to Director

Maddie McComb has been named communications director in the office of Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), effective October 1. McComb previously held the role of deputy communications director for Coons beginning January 1, 2024. ​

Before joining Coons's office, McComb served as communications director for Rep. Susan Wild (D-PA) from February 1, 2021 to January, 2022, and as a staff assistant in Sen. Kamala D. Harris's office from 2017 to 2018. She also held a press secretary role in Coons's office from January, 2022 to January, 2024.

Coons sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and the Senate Judiciary Committee. He also serves on the Senate Select Committee on Ethics and the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.
