Why It Matters
MomsRising Together, a Super PAC focused on issues affecting women and families, has concentrated its outside spending on supporting Roy Cooper in North Carolina's U.S. Senate race while backing a geographically diverse slate of Democratic congressional candidates.
The organization's spending reflects its broader advocacy on paid family and medical leave, child care, health care, immigration, and federal budget priorities. According to its newsroom, MomsRising Together operates as a social-welfare organization that educates and advocates on policies affecting women and mothers.
Unlike a registered super PAC, MomsRising Together reports independent expenditures to the Federal Election Commission as a noncommittee filer. It reports its spending independently of the candidates' campaigns.
The group's activity extends across House races in multiple states, including competitive contests in Florida, Iowa, and Michigan. Its spending places family-policy advocacy alongside the larger party-aligned and issue-focused organizations financing congressional advertising.
What It Spent
MomsRising Together has reported approximately $562,027 in independent expenditures during the 2026 election cycle, including $254,646 supporting Cooper in North Carolina's Senate race, roughly 45% of its total spending. Approximately $526,000 of its expenditures supported Democratic candidates.
The organization spent more supporting Cooper than on its next eight candidates combined. Its other reported expenditures include support for House candidates across nine states, along with spending supporting Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan's Senate race.

In Iowa's 2nd U.S. House District, James faces Republican Joe Mitchell. In Michigan's 10th U.S. House District, Hines faces Republican Mike Bouchard. All three contests are scheduled for the Nov. 3 general election.
The Ad Buy
MomsRising Together concentrated much of its advertising activity between Oct. 14 and Oct. 21, with reported payments totaling $236,000 supporting Cooper during that period. The New Media Group handled digital advertising across the organization's candidate slate, while Tak Kei Wong and Civitech provided voter-contact services.
Civitech also provided text messaging services for several House candidates. The vendor arrangements show a combination of digital advertising across multiple races and direct voter contact concentrated on Cooper's Senate campaign.
