Natalie Schulte Joins Sen. Patty Murray's Office as AAAS Fellow

Natalie Schulte has joined Sen. Patty Murray's (D-WA) personal office as an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellow, effective Sept. 1. Schulte holds a PhD from Duke University in chemistry, and previously worked as an NC STEM Policy Fellow in the Office of Science, Technology, and Innovation in the North Carolina Department of Commerce. ​

Sen. Murray serves as Senate president pro tempore and sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP), and the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, among others.
