Navy Legislative Fellow Joins House of Representatives
Jessie Fromularo, a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy, was appointed to the position of U.S. Navy Legislative Fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives as of January of this year. As a Navy legislative fellow, Fromularo holds a fellowship or training role rather than a traditional committee assignment with legislative authority.
From the Navy to Congress
This is not Fromularo's first professional experience in Washington. During the summer of 2016, Fromularo interned for the chairman of the VA.
Earlier that same year, Fromularo interned at the State Department but was posted in Germany.
The Navy Legislative Fellowship program continues to place military professionals in key positions throughout Congress, strengthening institutional knowledge and relationships between the Department of Defense and the legislative branch.
