No Going Back PAC Pours $851K Into Michigan Race Against McCann

There is a new player in town. And it is big. No Going Back filed as a SuperPac for the first time on September 1st. In its first two weeks, the Trump-affiliated political action committee has been on a spending spree. The Super PAC opposing Democratic candidates in competitive races spent $851,620 on television and connected-TV advertising against Sean McCann in Michigan's 4th congressional district, according to a filing released Friday.

No Going Back PAC Inc. reported the independent expenditure on September 12, 2026, targeting McCann's House race with paid media placement. The spending positions the PAC among outside groups actively engaged in the 2026 cycle, though available data on its overall financial activity remains incomplete.

The Michigan Spend in Context

The PAC has directed substantially larger sums at some targets. Sherrod Brown faced $6.71 million in reported opposition spending from the PAC, while El-Sayed and Cooper each drew roughly $3.7 million and $3.2 million respectively.

Support Spending and Candidate Slate

While the PAC's opposition work has drawn the most attention in available records, it has also spent on behalf of candidates. Warren Kenneth Jr. Paxton who is running for Senate against Dem favorite James Talarico received the highest reported support spending from No Going Back PAC, at $935,988.50 during the cycle. Carlos De La Cruz followed with $375,190.50 in support expenditures.

Other candidates receiving support spending included Michael Whatley ($94,759.04), Alex Mealer ($47,007.09), Bryan George Steil ($44,777.47), John Braun ($42,344.63), Jen Kiggans ($39,557.78), Bill Huizenga ($36,802.42), Dan Green ($35,269.58), and Derek Merrin ($35,208.00).
