From Intern to Deputy Press Secretary
Olivia M. Vuljaj has been promoted to the position of deputy press secretary in the office of Rep. Lisa C. McClain (R-MI), beginning August 1. The role marks a step up for Vuljaj within McClain's personal office.
Vuljaj earned a Bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication from Oakland University.
Since joining McClain's office, Vuljaj has held several positions. She began as a district intern from May 1, 2025 to August 1, 2025, then served as a staff assistant beginning in August of 2025.
The Office She Represents
As deputy press secretary, Vuljaj will help to handle communications for McClain, whose legislative portfolio spans financial services, education, and workforce development. McClain is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, as well as the House Education and the Workforce Committee.
