From Rep. Kiley to Rep. McClain
Savannah Russell has taken on a new position as scheduler in the personal office of Rep. Lisa McClain, the Republican representing Michigan's 9th congressional district. Russell began her role on June 1, 2026, her third congressional staff position in less than a year. The congressional scheduler appointment places Russell at the heart of McClain's operations on Capitol Hill. As scheduler, Russell manages the congresswoman's calendar and coordinates her official activities across multiple committee assignments and district responsibilities. She previously worked as a Scheduler for Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA-3) from February 2026 to May 2026, immediately before joining McClain's office. Before that, she served as Scheduler for Rep. Tim Moore (R-NC-14) from June 2025 to February 2026.
The Office She Helps Run
McClain currently serves on the House Financial Services Committee, as well as the House Education and the Workforce Committee.
