From Specialist to Director

Tianna Torrejon has been promoted to Digital Director in Sen. Charles Grassley's personal office, effective January 1, 2026. The role represents a significant move up for Torrejon, who previously served as Digital Specialist in the same office. Torrejon brings nearly five years of Capitol Hill experience to her new position. She began her congressional career as a Staff Assistant in Grassley's personal office in October 2021, before transitioning to the Senate Judiciary Committee in February 2022. She served as a Staff Assistant on the committee for roughly a year, then moved into a Legislative Aide role on the same committee from January 2023 to June 2024. She then returned to Grassley's personal office as Digital Specialist before her recent promotion.

Torrejon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication and sport studies from the University of Iowa. As Digital Director in Grassley's office, Torrejon will oversee digital communications and strategy for the Iowa Republican senator.

The Office She Helps Run

Grassley serves on multiple Senate committees that shape significant legislation: the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, and the Senate Budget Committee. He also serves on the Joint Committee on Taxation and the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control.
