From Intern to Legislative Assistant
Will Irwin has taken on a position as a Legislative Assistant in the office of Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), where he handles a diverse portfolio of policy areas spanning Appropriations, Armed Forces and National Security, Economics and Public Finance, Energy, International Affairs, Small Business, and Veterans Affairs.
Irwin is not assigned to a specific committee in his current role, instead working directly out of the senator's personal office. His position places him in the orbit of Blackburn's work across multiple Senate committees, including the Joint Economic Committee, the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
