The Blockchain Association's in-house lobbying team brings deep Capitol Hill credentials to its first quarter 2026 disclosure. CEO Summer Mersinger spent nearly 11 years on Capitol Hill, including as a Senior Adviser on the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. EVP of Legal and Government Relations Ashok Pinto served nearly eight years across Senate Judiciary, Senate Commerce, and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Senior Director of Government Relations Jessica Martinez logged more than five years in the House, including as Executive Director of the Joint Economic Committee and Legislative Director for Rep. Marc Veasey (D-TX). Government Relations Associate Jeremy Epner previously interned in the office of Rep. Scott Peters (D-CA), while Policy and Legislative Affairs Associate Ellie Small interned for the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee. Lindsay Fraser, the Association's Chief Policy Officer, rounds out the team. Before joining the Blockchain Association, Mersinger also worked as a lobbyist at Smith-Free Group LLC, where she represented clients including the American Dental Association and the Independent Pilots Association.
