Cam Rios has been promoted to Digital Director for Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), a position the staffer assumed on June 1.

Rios brings nearly three years of congressional experience to the position. The staffer previously served as Press Assistant for Cornyn from October 2025 through March 2026, handling communications and media relations for the senator's office. Before that, Rios worked as a Staff Assistant for Rep. David Kustoff (R-TN-8) in July 2025, and interned in the offices of Sen. Roger F. Wicker (R-MS) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) earlier in her career.

Rios holds a Bachelor's degree in public policy leadership from the University of Mississippi (Oxford), which the staffer earned between 2021 and 2025.

The Office She Works In

Cornyn serves as Senate Majority Whip and holds seats on the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Senate Budget Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Senate Judiciary Committee. The senator also chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee Border Security and Immigration Subcommittee and the Senate Finance Committee International Trade, Customs and Global Competitiveness Subcommittee.
